FAQS

Beechlawn have moved to 100% wholesale sales only BUT we have partnered with Green Earth Organics  www.greenearthorganics.ie  and you can buy a delicious veg box from them which may contain Beechlawn Vegetables.

June – October: beetroot, broccoli, cabbage, carrot, cauliflower, celery, courgette, cucumber, french beans, kale, parsnip, potato, pumpkin, tomato and turnip.

November – March: cabbage, carrots, parsnip, and turnip; winter salads: brussels sprouts, kale, beetroot; and purple sprouting broccoli and celery.

The “hungry gap” is from March to May, when last years harvest is almost gone or has gone to seed and this years spring sowings are not big enough to eat.

Everything we produce and sell is certified Organic.  We are certified by the Irish Organic Association (IOA) and we do our best to grow and sell as much Irish produce as possible and import from abroad when we cannot grow a product ourselves or source it in Ireland.

Our commitment to sustainability: Our aim at Beechlawn Organic Farm is to minimize the impact our farm has on the environment.  We do this by growing our produce in an organic and sustainable way. We are constantly looking for new ways to lower our carbon footprint and waste production. We encourage shops to order loose, non-packaged vegetables when they can to help us with this goal.

We grow and source as much Irish Vegetables as we can.  For fruit and vegetables that we cannot grow in the Irish Climate or they are out of season, we will source them from certified organic growers in Europe and South America.
