Organic farms like ours are better for the planet, we have a lower carbon footprint and 30% more biodiversity, less food miles and more nutritious delicious food! However we are affected by climate chaos and rising costs, and unfortunately we have had to increase our prices this week and will next week again to make ends meet.
We apologise for the challenges caused but hope you can bear with us at this time. Costs have gone up across the board. It’s also been a very difficult growing year. 2012 was pretty bad and in terms of crops this year is equally bad. The harvest has been less than expected and our beetroots did not grow fully, our turnip crops failed completely and we have less veg growing in our fields than expected. There are other pressures also. We hope you can bear with us at this time.
